Clubhouse Dress Code
The Board has long struggled with attempting to define what is appropriate for the clubhouse and our dining areas. The Board of Governors expects member dress to be respectful and of high quality at all times in the Clubhouse. We recognize that what meets that standard may differ based on the time of day and the season. For example, what may be appropriate when a family comes in for a hot chocolate after a day of sledding is not appropriate for dinner.
In general Country Club Casual is what we seek. This includes men and boys being required to remove their caps in the indoor dining areas. That which is generally considered comfortable and appropriate for a very high-quality restaurant in town is typically appropriate at the PCC.
The following are items that are never appropriate in the clubhouse and dining areas:
- Tee shirts and tank tops (without cover up)
- Workout/exercise clothes (e.g. yoga pants, spandex etc.)
- Hooded sweatshirts
- Bathing suits or swimming apparel (Rev. 01/18)
Tennis Dress Code
Tennis shirts, shorts and caps of any color are permitted at the tennis facility. Only sneakers are to be worn on the courts. Tennis sweat suits and sweatshirts are also permitted.
Examples of inappropriate attire would include:
- Jeans of any style and color
- Basketball, gym, cutoffs, cargo or camp shorts
- Golf and street shoes
- Hiking boots or other footwear
- Swimsuits
- Non-tennis/athletic style T-shirts (e.g. casual graphic tee shirts) (Rev. 01/18)
Pool Area Dress Code
All swimwear, shorts, t-shirts and headwear are permitted at the pool and on the pool deck. Jeans and sweatshirts and sweatpants are allowed. Shirts and footwear are required in the café at all times.
For sanitary reasons, a tight-fitting swim diaper (at waist and thigh) must be worn underneath their swimsuit by children who are less than 4 years of age or are not fully trained. Disposable diapers (e.g. Huggies, combined with rubber, plastic, or vinyl pants) are not acceptable as this combination is proven ineffective and disposable swim diapers contain materials that clog pool filters. Please insure that young children take regular bathroom breaks to ensure that accidents are avoided.
Examples of inappropriate attire would include:
- No shoes or shirt in the Café area
- Offensive T-shirts
- Disposable diapers
- G-string type bathing suits (Rev. 01/18)
Cell Phones and Pagers
Members and guests wishing to use cell phones are required to use them outside of the Member dining and beverage areas but not on the golf course or practice areas. Modest internet access (web, email or text) is permitted in dining and beverage areas. Members and guests are also required to silence cell phone volume and pager ring tones while in the dining and beverage areas. (Rev. 03/17)
